Living and working in Churubusco resembles the “typical” small town life, where Main Street is the focal point of town and it is lined with small businesses ranging from department stores, restaurants and offices.

Many of these businesses have been located in our town for many years and even decades for some.

The entertainment focal point for the town is the community park where events such as Turtle Days and the Chamber vs. Firemen “Picnic In The Park” are held annually. During the summer, the park is buzzing with children excited to be playing in their first baseball game or just enjoying the swings and merry-go-round.

When people work in Churubusco, they always greet their customers with a smile and more than likely by first name. People who pass through the area always comment on how friendly the town and its people are when shopping here.
